Honesty/Loyalty is Innocence

Read it in a blog and I repeat it here!!

We talk about how blogging can be one activity in which you can vent out your pent up feelings without bothering how people are going to judge you...... but when it comes to facing the real situation of getting engaged/married, we start deleting the posts to cover the dark secrets of life.

We expect full honesty n faithfulness from our partners, but in deep corners of our own life - we still are running from the world.

Why people want to keep lying to themselves till it becomes too big to hide?

Yes, Have seen people doing exactly the same.... Why do (some) people pretend to be someone else (or what the others around them, want them to be), talk and behave in a way which is not themselves.. What for??

Or even why do people ever grow up so much, that they do not understand themselves?

I happened to meet a person, who said, with every boy friend, she realizes what she is and has a clear view what she wants in life???!! (Yes, thats exactly what she told and I was horrified with such comments, wel!!!, I'm not grown up to even react!!!)

From where did all the complications in life ever crept up? People easily change their relationships, with friends, with partners and other people around them.. And consider it to be "OK"... {Its more like saying "Men may come n men may go, but I go on forever}... [Lucky, at least parents cannot be changed]

Laughter!! Control, if you can!!

Can anyone be ever so successful in making everyone laugh, for more than 70 years!! Yes, my fav "Tom & Jerry", they have been doing this.

All of us have seen this particular 10 minutes video. But, little I knew that, this is the first ever creation by the great duo, "William Hanna & Joseph Barbera".

This particular video was produced in 1939 & released on Feb 10, 1940 :D

Though lost Oscars in 1940, it has remained in our hearts for ever.

Every kid's favourite, I can almost say, kids learn to laugh their heart out with these characters.

And for me, it always catches the attention and makes me glued to TV.

Trivias:

1. The only credential shown in the video is "a Rudolf Ising Production"

1. Though it didn't make it to Oscars, this video won Academy Awards.

1. MGM had no intention of creating any follow-up cartoons, but the Awards supported "H&B" request to do so.

1. T&J shorts made their Television debut only in 1975.

1. The Video doesn't show the name as "Tom & Jerry", as it was christened later.

1. Tom's name is "Jasper" & Jerry's is said to be "Jinx" (though, the name is not shown in Video)

1. At over nine minutes in length, this is the longest theatrical Tom and Jerry short released.

1. This is one of three Tom and Jerry shorts where the title is a pun on the fairytale Puss in Boots. The others are Puss n' Toots and Puss 'n' Boats.

1. The maid (Mammy-two-shoes), black lady's face is never shown in any of the Tom & Jerry's cartoons.. (I so so wish to see her face, for once)

1. In 2003, T&J appeared in a commercial for Ford Mondeo, for the first time.

PS: There is a saying in kannada "Bekkige Chellata, Ilige pranasankata", which means, What's Fun for cat is pain for mouse. But, these characters have actually reversed it. Unlike our normal cats, Tom is not out to eat Jerry, but only to trouble/torment him, but most of the time, end up being the victim himself.
