Politeeks!!

Completely dedicated to the politicians jumping, hanging and swinging on the grills inside Vidhana Soudha, shouting on top of their voices, those who tore their shirts and vest in the power house of the state, those who throw the chairs and tables at others and to all the noutankis appointed by poor Mango People (aam admi)!!!

Who ever named this state,
as hell, absolutely right,
karNATAKA!

Just couldn't stop myself from drafting this !! and photo courtesy by the great cartoonist Dr.Satish Shrungeri @ Maja.up-with.com

Employee Version

I was the brightest one in the whole crowd and I was very happy that, the day I step out of the campus I’d be employed. I wanted to perform at my best, add to my employer’s efficiency, being productive at a lesser cost.. What not!! Like any fresher!! I’d loads of dreams.

And one fine day, all the necessary papers were signed and I was officially employed.

It was all fine in the initial few days (yes, only days!!). I was fed full stomach, washed and serviced on time!! Even I always tried bringing more smiles on my employer’s face. Everything was just perfect, till the time, this lady employer of mine started behaving like any typical lady drivers!! Goshh!! To hell, with her sense of driving!! Always jumping signals and say sorry to Cops!! I hate the way, the cop checks me out, in such situations!! Not my mistake!! Top of it, when I met with my first accident, I was crying my heart out for the scar I had on my nose, but this stupid gal went around happily telling everyone that, she hit a police vehicle and got away with a smile!! Any care n concern about me!! No way!!

Moreover, she daydreams!! happily singing song while riding, looking at the hoardings for timepass, what not! It has become my responsibility to be extra careful and drop her to her place!! Sigh!!

I have now developed a sense of being ignored, not being appreciated for all my efforts. And everyday ride is nothing but just a routine for me!

Employer Version

How many ever sweet friends I’ve, I didn’t like the feeling of being “Dependent”. For the very reason I decided to buy a two wheeler for myself. The biggest hurdle was my over protective mom. Tried my best, convinced and zeroed on buying a Honda Activa. I just love my vehicle. I feel I’m a free bird to fly to places anytime. I, no more have to wait for autos or any of my friends to pick me or drop me!!

But, with petrol price hike, I no more fill it full tank. Just as much as I want for the day. And even servicing, I just take it to the near by Garage once a while. Doing my bit to keep the vehicle functioning efficiently.

What??? Should I’ve to keep saying thanks to the vehicle!! Doesn’t make sense to me! In spite of any amount of appreciation, mileage is not going to shoot up!!

Happy Beginning, Sad End!!

When my work timings changed and I was able to go home early, I was happy. But that didn’t last long!! I was welcomed by my mom's favorite non-stop super duper soap, which made no sense to me!!
Here are few!!
1.
Villain no 1(V1 is madly in love with Heroine no.1 (Hn1)
But, Heroine no.1(Hn1) loves Hero no.1. (H1)
And they are about to tie knot soon!!
Oh, the V1 is so very angry now,,, wants to stop the marriage, so that he can get married to Hn1 later.
And, he gets a very bright idea. With the help of all his right hands/left hands (V2, V3, V4….), he kills a Side Role no.1 (SR1)
Ok, now, SR1’s wife (or say widow) is Hn2.
V1, with all his family influence, tries and forces that H1 gets married to Hn2. (H1, like any other hero, is interested in helping others)
Now, H1 & Hn2 are together,,
voila,, Hn1 is now there for V1.
***applause for V1 (for his bright idea)****
[Magar Kahani mein twist, H1 doesn’t get married to Hn2, but they are just living together. H1 still has the option of running away with Hn1]
Arey buddu V1, can’t you think straight and reduce all those extra characters like SR1, Hn2, V2, V3………………………..
2.
A simple happy village girl is getting married to a District Collector. (yessss!!!)
She is even happier that she is getting married to a District Collector
And she goes around with her family and friends telling that, her fiancée is a District Collector
And the girl’s dad is very happy that his daughter is getting married to a District Collector
He invites the whole village for his daughter’s marriage with District Collector
Girl’s dad and mom, discuss with each other as to what they should buy as gifts for District Collector
So on…………………….. District Collector!
Alright!! I’ll stop here,, Even if mom loves them to the core,, I hate them as much. But this word “District Collector” is so prominently heard, even if locked myself in the room. So decided to be little attentive, but all in vain. Even after a week, I didn’t get that Groom’s name,, all I know is he is a District Collector.
3.
Maid gets hurt while DUSTING and cleaning.. It’s a very small scratch. But, the Chotee Bahu (Bahu 3) comes running, puts a band aid, tell her to rest for a while and actually gives her a chutti, but without anyone’s consent at home (woowww, what an employer!! I appreciate her concern).
The drama begins after that.
Bahu no. 1, bahu no. 2, MIL no. 1, MIL no. 2, Aunt no 1, Granny no. 1 are all in panic state, coz the maid is not to be found around. They crib about the work pending at the moment - Vessels, clothes, cooking for a big family of more than 10…. Oof!! They discuss every bit of it, sitting on the couch!! But, won’t move their butt an inch!! Grrr,, (Now, that’s what I call employee exploitation!!)
During the whole conversation in the family, Bahu 3 is tensed. [Camera Zooms in, Zooms Out repeatedly to show her emotions very clearly]
After a big drama, she mutters that she has sent the maid home!!
The scene changes instantly, everyone is one their feet to finish the work at home and the MIL 1 very sweetly asks “hey, you could have told earlier itself”
Yes dear!! Even I say the same!! It would have reduced some 20 mins torture!!
I’m not all that keen to go home early anymore!!!!

I am all about you, you know it..

I know you are there
The rarest of rare
You walked out my life
And now I'm despair

You've filled all my mind
My thoughts are all yours
Now you've left me alone
I am numb and love blind

Please come back to me
And bring back my peace
Let's show the whole world
Our love's not so weak

My life's out of order
It's only just getting harder
Can you get our smile back
And make it a little broader
